I/O Components

The emulator will take in a UDP packet that will represent the next state of the fountain.
See: cRIO Communication Protocol

It must also be able to take in input that will allow it to simulate all off the environmental state codes
  • Bollards 1 - 5
  • Pumps 1- 4
  • Manhole cover is closed
  • Sidewalk water level is OK
  • North and South end hardware disables
The UI Must have a component to manually build a UDP packet

It will send out a UDP packet to the sender when:
  • it receives a UDP packet
  • a packet is manually built using the UI (this will allow for better testability of the server code and the emulator)

The UI will display:
  • The current physical state of the fountain
  • The bytes of the received packet
